If we insist on Jesus helping us fulfill our agenda, we will inevitably tame him into our mascot. But what would happen —ask yourself the question—what would happen if you volunteered to be part of HIS program? What if you said to him, ‘Wherever you send me, I will go’?

I’m absolutely convinced that over the next few weeks, God is going to tap some of you on the shoulder. He’s going to stir some of your hearts, and he’s going to send you somewhere. It may be across the street. It may be around the world. But I’m praying that you’ll be obedient. You can be, because what you do flows out of who you are—and you are a new creation with a brand new purpose.
