Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at LifeWay Church.
Our goal is to partner with families to lead their children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We aim to do this by:
- assisting parents in their role as disciplemakers of their children
- teaching children to know and appreciate God’s word
- providing a safe environment for children while at church
Sunday Mornings KidVenture
Kids ages Kindergarten through 5th grade join us each Sunday morning for KidVenture!
Upon arriving to the LifeWay Worship service, first check in your children at the Welcome station located in the foyer. Children ages K – 5th grade meet first in the Worship Service and after being dismissed walk together to the Annex, where the KidVenture program takes place. KidVenture meets during both services, 9:00 and 10:45.
In KidVenture, your children will experience Biblical truths through age-level worship, Bible storytelling, games and small group time with kids their age. During small group time, kids share ways to apply the Bible story and pray for one another with their small group leader. KidVenture is taught by caring leaders that are passionate about children growing in their faith.
Each week families are encouraged to continue discipleship together at home by using the BibleQuest handout. Completing the BibleQuest each day, kids can process truths of the Bible story learned on Sunday, memorize their weekly Bible Verse, and be challenged to live out what they’ve learned.
Check out the camps for kids this summer on our upcoming events page.
Sunday Mornings ‘LilVenture
If you have children from newborn through preschool, come and join us in ‘Lil Venture. Our nursery provides loving care for the babies and toddlers while the older kids play, have snack, create a craft, and learn about Jesus through the Bible and by example.
Wednesday Night Kids Klub
Kids Klub is a fun, engaging program in which kids enjoy small group time with caring leaders, worship through music, play games and learn Biblical truths through Bible stories and group discussion. Kids Klub is a free event for kids in K – 5th grade and meets every Wednesday, 6 – 7:30pm at Twin Lakes Elementary during the schoolyear. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. We follow the Federal Way School District Calendar.
