Living Under the Shadow of the Almighty, Part 1

You’re vulnerable only when you’re left in your own state. But when you are literally standing in the security and the understanding of Jesus Christ our Lord—here’s the bottom line—you have no insecurity at that point. That’s why, in Romans 8, it says…there isn’t anything that can separate me from the love that is found in Jesus Christ. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Not disease. Not death. Not stock markets. Not pestilence. Not invading armies. Nothing. Because I am no longer vulnerable. Because I do not stand in my pride. I stand in the security of exactly what Christ has done in this world. He himself will restore me, make me strong and steadfast—and to him be the power forever and ever and ever and ever. Amen.
