Why would we sacrifice everything to a holy God? Because he is holy. He wants to totally rule over the brokenness of you and me. And that theology does not come naturally. What comes naturally is, ‘Fix it for me, God—and let me live my own life.’ [What does] not [come] naturally is when we let him rule over every aspect of our lives. The Jesus who heals us is the Jesus who rules us.
