God is the Author of Life. God loves life and God is pro (or for) life, but what does that mean? It means to think about life and value life the way God does. God values ALL life – from “womb to tomb” or “birth to earth” as some have put it. As a people who believe in and follow Jesus we should align our thinking with His.
It is time to understand the pro-life case, form beliefs on more than what is said in the media and to get involved in loving life.
This week will close the series “The Matter of Life” and we’ll consider the last few questions:
- Does a human life have value only if it is conceived from a parent’s desire? If it’s “wanted”?
- When does a human life deserve to be protected?
- Should someone who can’t make a decision for themselves have their life protected?
- Why should you and I care about life?
To prepare for this week: Spend some time praying for pro-life work going on in the south sound and ask God if there is an area He wants you to get involved in.
