As was mentioned last week, this series is entitled “The Matter of Life”. We need to think about life and value life the way God does.
This week we are going to be discussing more of the questions we brought up last week:
- What gives a human life value?
- Is a life only valuable if it exists in an economically viable family or country?
- Is a life valuable even it is a “poor” life?
- Why should you and I care about life?
Is it possible that God wants to AND IS ABLE to redeem a life that we would think beyond hope?
To prepare for this week: go back to some Bible stories you may or may not be familiar with and note what God said about redeeming their lives:
- Hagar – an abused servant and her son – Genesis 21:14-20
- Rahab – a prostitute – Joshua 2:1-21 & 6:15-25
- A Man – Born Blind – John 9:1-3
