Can the grace of God truly be sufficient? Is the grace of God really the mark — the covenant mark, the circumcision mark of the heart — that can really help us find, and move us toward, salvation? That was on trial here. And the hammer came down, and judgment was decided that yes, faith alone and salvation through Jesus Christ is the only thing that rescues us from this life of slavery and bondage of sin. It became the full-confidence edict, right here in Acts 15, that grace wins, and grace alone will save.

…What do we teach when we go out into uncharted territory? “There is no other God.” … What you teach out there in this world is a singular devotion. Don’t pair it up with anything else.
