Mother’s Day Responses

Mother’s Day Responses

On Mother’s Day—Sunday, May 8—as part of our worship service, we asked the kids (kids of all ages, that is) to fill out a questionnaire about their moms. We were able to share some of the responses with our congregation. Their answers will put a smile on your face.  Enjoy!

If I could give my mom anything, it would be…

  • Food
  • Cookware
  • Pay off our mortgage!
  • A world 3-month cruise
  • Snuggles
  • A diamond ring
  • Me—her well-behaved handsome son
  • My love
  • A kiss and a hug

My mom means more to me than…

  • Food
  • Donuts
  • School
  • Money
  • My aunt
  • Math homework
  • Hamburger Helper
  • Planes
  • All the popcorn in the universe (which is great comfort food!)
  • My iPad

If I could cook any special Mother’s Day dinner for my mom, it would be…

  • Salad and ranch
  • Cake
  • Cereal
  • Salad
  • Any food that you could find in Italy (+ coffee)
  • Buy McDonald’s for a week
  • Sushi
  • Buttery garlic-seared scallops!
  • Spaghetti and meatballs
  • Steak, medium-rare
  • PB & J
  • A big pancake
  • Nothing from our kitchen now—because of a remodel we currently don’t have a stove!
  • Warm chocolate chip cookies
  • Pigs in a blanket
  • A big ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, and fruit salad

We love our moms!
