Paul the Apostle is arguably one of the most influential people for the Christian faith (obviously after Christ!) He had a momentous conversion. He was planting numerous churches. He gave bold witness to individuals, communities, and governments! In short, he was a powerful instrument in the hands of God.
But where did this power come from?
Do you remember what God said to Ananias regarding Paul’s faith and ministry?
“Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.” Are you ready for it? “For I will show him how much he must SUFFER for the sake of my name.”
Suffering. God intends suffering for Paul. And it isn’t just suffering, but great suffering… What a daunting call.
Paul after his powerful conversion will soon be able to say, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Come and gather together to look upon the suffering Christ, so that we may be empowered and prepared in ours.
Please read and meditate upon 1 Peter 3:13-18. I am eager to gather with you again, LifeWay family.
