Made for Relationship

Made for Relationship

It’s GIC Season!!! This is one of my favorite times of the year because we get to meet amazing people doing God’s work around the world, and we get to re-focus on the core things that are most important to us as a church and as followers of Jesus.

This week we are beginning to prepare our hearts and minds for the GIC with a series called, “Made For This.”  In this series, we wanted to focus on that foundational act of Creation, to look at ourselves and our mission in light of who God created us to be and why. Over the next few weeks, we will see that we are made for relationship, made for worship, made for mission, made for witness, and made for growth.

Hopefully, by the end of the GIC, you will see that understanding what we’re made for helps us to live our best lives—lives that glorify God and bring us deep satisfaction and joy.

This week, as we explore the idea that we are made for relationship. Think about your relationship with God and with others. How do those relationships bring glory to God and joy to you? Are there ways that God might be asking you to engage relationally in a deeper way?

If you are able, take a few minutes to read through Genesis 1 and 2 again in preparation for our time together on Sunday morning.

See you there!!

PS—block off October 15-19 on your calendar! You won’t want to miss it!
