GIC Guests
Ankha Jigjid and Badnaa Onkh
Ankha and Badnaa were raised in Mongolia, and became followers of Jesus through the work of missionaries in the early 1990s. They worked for 15 years with Cru in Mongolia, where Badnaa served as the Director of the Great Commission Training Center. In 2015 they were asked to come to the United States to reach Mongolians who were living on the west coast. After a couple years in the Los Angeles area, they moved to Seattle and planted a church to reach more than 3,000 Mongolians living in the Seattle area. They currently pastor Eternal Joy Mongolian Church. They have an 18-year-old daughter who is beginning at UW this fall, and a 16-year-old son who is a junior at Roosevelt High School.
Allison Royals
Allison served with the International Mission Board for 15 years. She has a Masters in Fine Arts and a Masters in Theological Studies, and served among Central Asians both in Central Asia and in Europe. She currently works with the Diaspora Missions Collective as a Senior Engagement Strategist in the US, where she comes alongside US churches and organizations who desire to engage diaspora communities in their area with the good news. Her team seeks to cast vision, equip, and create strategy for those hoping to go deeper with the “nations in their own backyard.”
Brad Schneeflock
Brad was born and raised in Arizona. He met his wife, Rainy, while attending Northern Arizona University, where they were both involved in college ministry on campus. Brad earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Gateway Seminary. After serving in pastoral ministry for over a decade, God led Brad into collegiate ministry leadership. He served nearly twelve years on staff with Christian Challenge, a collegiate ministry in Arizona, as the Phoenix Metro Strategist and as State Director. In 2023, God called Brad and his family to the Seattle area to launch Northwest Collegiate Ministry on campuses across the Puget Sound region. Brad and Rainy have seven children and two grandchildren.
Trey Shaw – GIC Alumni
Trey and his wife, Denise, were a part of Lifeway’s GIC last year, and Trey is returning as our Alumni speaker this year. Trey and Denise have lived and served in Budapest, Hungary for more than 20 years with the International Mission Board. They serve as cluster leaders and trainers for the Carpathian region (Hungary, Slovakia, and Czechia), and have spent years learning to understand the Hungarians and the specific ways the Gospel speaks to their culture. They planted churches in Budapest in 2010 and another in 2017. They share three young adult children, and will be returning to US to live and minister beginning in November 2025.
