KidVenture

LifeWay Church’s Childrens Ministry mission is  to: 1-Reach kids and families 2-Introduce kids to Jesus 3-Help kids take steps of faith. Join us on Sunday mornings t 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Children ages kindergarten through fifth grade meet in the KidVenture Clubhouse during both services, kids are greeted by KidVenture leaders and  before starting the lesson kids are allowed to play games that are set up in KidZone.  After KidZone all kids gather together for singing and presentation of that day’s lesson.  Worship is made interactive by motions related to the song.
Our children ages birth to 5 years of age join our Lil’Venture staff where they are broken up into three separate rooms, our nursery provides loving care for babies ages 6 weeks to 12 months during both services and children ages 1-2 years of age are in our walker and runner room.  During our time together we play, have snack and learn about Jesus through Bible story books and by example.  Our preschool age kids enter a play space to hang out with other kids as they move through a series of rotations that gives the preschoolers hands-on learning experiences, songs, crafts, and a fun and engaging Bible lesson.

AWANA
LifeWay Church holds AWANA on Wednesday nights starting in September and concluding in May. Awana stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Study to show yourself approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.  The big idea is that kids can be proud when they study God’s Word because they are getting to know God and his word for themselves.  Each week kids work through handbooks, participate in games and listen to lessons, but it’s more  than your typical scout troop or little league team.  AWANA gives kids what few other programs can. They learn memorization skills and team work as well as gaining confidence while developing their spiritual compass as well as having fun with any one of our theme nights, from crazy hair night or survival night  or our talent show.
